This Privacy and Security Policy (“Privacy Policy”) contains the vision and policies of AloTech İletişim Teknolojileri Tic. A.Ş. (“AloTech”) regarding the personal information provided by users (“User”) who visit the website with the domain name www.alotech.com.tr (“Website”). AloTech undertakes to ensure the confidentiality of the information it acquires or stores within the framework of the following conditions.

1. Scope of the Privacy Policy

The commitments set forth in this Privacy Policy are valid only for information shared with AloTech through the Website. Websites linked or to be linked on the Website are subject to their own privacy principles, ethical principles, and terms of use, and AloTech is in no way responsible for any material/moral losses that may be incurred on these sites.

2. Modification of the Privacy and Security Policy

AloTech reserves the right to make necessary changes to this Privacy Policy without prior notice in order to keep its privacy and data protection principles up-to-date and compliant with relevant legislation. Should a decision be made to change the Privacy Policy, the amended policy will be announced on the Website.

3. Protection of Personal Data

As a “data controller” under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698, AloTech places great importance on the processing and preservation of your personal data in accordance with the law and other relevant legislation.

Your personal data is collected by AloTech both electronically and physically through order forms and similar forms and their annexes, call centers, written communication channels, and the website. In addition to personal data such as Users’ e-mail addresses, names and surnames, identity information, addresses or phone numbers, and your voice recordings if you contact the call center, AloTech also records the IP address, start and end information regarding usage, the type and scope of use, and the type of browser and operating system via the website.

Your personal data collected by AloTech will be processed with meticulous observance of the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 in the following situations:

• When a demo is requested or a purchase is made for AloTech products and/or services,
• When products or services are offered to AloTech,
• When contacting AloTech through any means,
• When requesting or preferring to receive commercial electronic messages for marketing purposes,
• When applying for a job at AloTech and/or starting to work at AloTech,
• When participating in events and organizations organized by AloTech, and
• When visiting the Website.

In cases where your explicit consent is required for the processing of your personal data under the said law and other relevant legislation, your personal data will not be processed without obtaining such consent.

The purposes for which your personal data is processed by AloTech are as follows:

• Planning and execution of activities necessary for recommending and promoting the products and services offered by AloTech by customizing them according to your tastes, usage habits, and needs (in this context; planning and/or execution of customer satisfaction activities, planning and/or execution of market research and marketing activities and processes for products and services, planning and/or execution of relevant processes to obtain the highest benefit from the products or services offered),
• Carrying out the necessary work by the relevant business units to enable you to benefit from the products and services offered by AloTech and executing the related business processes (in this context; planning and/or execution of sales processes of products and/or services, planning and/or execution of after-sales support services, planning and/or execution of customer relationship management processes, tracking of customer requests and complaints, tracking of contract processes and/or legal claims),
• Ensuring the legal, technical, and commercial-business security of AloTech and the related persons in a business relationship with it (in this context; planning and/or execution of audit activities, planning and execution of necessary operational activities to ensure that activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures and/or relevant legislation, ensuring the security of operations, ensuring that data is accurate and up-to-date, providing information to authorized institutions arising from legislation),
• Carrying out the necessary work by the relevant business units for the realization of commercial activities carried out by AloTech and executing the related business processes (in this context; planning, auditing, and execution of information security processes, creation and management of information technology infrastructure, tracking of finance and/or accounting affairs, tracking of legal affairs, planning and/or execution of activities for the efficiency/productivity and/or appropriateness analysis of business activities, planning and execution of business activities, planning and execution of corporate communication activities, planning and execution of logistics activities, planning and execution of operational processes),
• Planning and execution of AloTech’s commercial and/or business strategies (in this context; management of relationships with business partners, manufacturers, dealers, and/or suppliers, execution of strategic planning activities, planning and tracking of performance evaluation processes of business partners, manufacturers, and/or suppliers).

Your personal data is shared by AloTech within the scope of the services provided, with insurance companies, software companies, domestic and foreign banks and financial institutions, licensed payment institutions, domestic and foreign organizations from which services are received for storing and protecting data in the cloud and similar environments, domestic and foreign organizations from which server services are received, domestic and foreign organizations from which services are received for sending commercial electronic messages, the Interbank Card Center (BKM), advertising and communication agencies, credit card service providers, payment service providers, internet service providers, mobile application and website software maintenance and support service providers, AloTech’s shareholders, other companies of the group or groups it is affiliated with, including its direct and indirect subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as AloTech’s domestic and foreign business and solution partners, limited to the information they will use within the scope of their activities.

AloTech also shares your personal data with judicial, administrative, or other official authorities to whom it is legally obligated to provide information. The purpose of these data sharing activities is to provide our services securely, uninterruptedly, and with high quality, and to fulfill our legal obligations.

For purposes such as the development of the Website and platforms, increasing the variety of products and services according to customer and user preferences, and measuring user experience, we work with service providers located abroad and specified in this Policy. In this context, links to other sites may be provided within the Website, and AloTech bears no responsibility for the privacy practices and content of the sites accessed through these links. Advertisements published on AloTech’s site are distributed to our users through our advertising business partners. The principles of this Privacy and Security Policy apply to the Website and do not cover third-party websites.

AloTech takes all necessary measures to provide the appropriate level of security in accordance with the legislation to prevent the unlawful use of your data and to ensure its protection during the processing and sharing of your personal data. Personal data will only be collected within the scope of AloTech’s activities, used in connection with the purposes of collection, stored for the periods required by the processing purposes, will not be processed in a way that exceeds the rules and exceptions specified in the current legislation, and upon the disappearance of the reasons requiring its processing, it will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized, without prejudice to the storage obligations arising from other current legislation.

Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698, by applying to AloTech, you have the rights to: (i) learn whether your personal data is being processed, (ii) request information if your personal data has been processed, (iii) learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose, (iv) know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred at home or abroad, (v) request the correction of your personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed, (vi) request the deletion or destruction of your Personal Data in the event that the reasons requiring its processing cease to exist, to be evaluated within the principles of purpose, period, and legitimacy, (vii) request that the correction, deletion, or destruction of your personal data be notified to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred, (viii) object to a result against you arising from the analysis of your processed personal data exclusively through automated systems, and (ix) request compensation for damages if you suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.

You can always reach us for the updating and correction of your personal data held by AloTech, and for all other questions, requests, and opinions regarding your personal data, through the methods specified in the Application Form located at https://alotech.com.tr/basvuru-formu on the Website, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. AloTech will conclude your request free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on its nature. However, if the transaction requires an additional cost, AloTech reserves the right to charge a fee based on the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.

4. Cookies

Cookies are small units of data temporarily stored on your hard drive by your browser, which are necessary to use the Website. A cookie usually contains a unique identifier, consisting of a randomly generated number, which is stored on your device.

If not approved by the User, AloTech does not send any messages with such content to the User. If the User does not wish to receive messages sent by AloTech, they have the right to leave AloTech’s communication list at any time by exercising their right to refuse to receive commercial electronic messages.
